November 2008.  Regret that after six successful seasons we are no longer offering Casa Glicine, following withdrawal of the apartment by the owner.

October 2008.  We're delighted to be able to offer for the 2009 season a beautiful new apartment Villa Giovanetti, in Orta San Giulio, renting mid-week to attract the long weekend market for small groups of couples.  The superbly finished ground floor apartment sleeps 4 to 6, and has two beautiful four-poster beds, and a superb lake-side garden facing the island.  Book early!

September 2008.  We've finally got round to adding a web page for Azalea, the great little studio apartment in Orta San Giulio with the view over Orta's "other" square, which we started renting this summer.

August 2008.  We've added a page on Miami beach with several pictures (wow!, aren't the hills all so incredibly green this year?!).  And we've added many more summer pictures to the Gallery, taken on a recent walk to the Tre Montagnette.  We've also added lots of photos sent in by one of our clients to the page on Orta San Giulio and to the Gallery. We've also renewed the floor covering in the kitchen area of Casa Miralago, and we've added a clump of pampas grass and a second olive tree to the garden of Villa Gelsomina.

June 2008.  We've put in a new fridge with freezer compartment in Casa Miralago.  After much spring rain, the garden of Villa Gelsomina is looking wonderful, with the hydrangeas in full flower (see picture above), the three climbing jasmine having a wonderful aroma, and the two magnolia grandflora with some magnificent flowers smelling like rather expensive ladies perfume...

May 2008.  We organised Lynne and Daniel's wedding in Orta San Giulio (picture left of the bride outside Villa Bossi).  It was definitiely a case of "sposa bagnata, sposa fortunata", but an excellent time was had by all, with a champagne boat trip around the island, and reception in the wonderful lakeside setting of the Hotel San Rocco.

April-May 2008.  We've planted some 15 palms (a local variety) around the grounds of Villa Gelsomina for that exotic look, plus more hydrangeas, and extended the pittosforo hedge above the pool.  We've also planted three more climbing jasmines to cover the south wall (behind the BBQ).

February 2008.  The new pavement in beautiful red porfido (from the Dolomites) is ready in front of Villa Gelsomina completing the parking area, and we've added good quality chrome corner shower baskets to all the showers in the villa.

January 2008.  We've launched the new look home page for our web site, with larger picture and superimposed key links.  The page on local information had got so long, that we've split it into a whole new Tell me about... area of the web site, linked prominently from the new look home page.  We've split the gallery into four seasons, and added some new winter photos (picture right) taken on a recent walk.
