We are delighted to offer Bluewater, a beautiful lake-side apartment with lake-front garden directly on Lake Orta. Bluewater sleeps 4 to 6 adults in two bedrooms and with a double sofabed in the living room. There is one bathroom with shower.
· Kitchen: large fully equipped kitchen with dining table and seating for 6, floor and wall storage, new electric four burner hob, double sink, oven, microwave oven, full height fridge, and dishwasher.
· Twin Bedroom: two single beds, wardrobe, chest-of-drawers, bedside tables.
· Bathroom: washbasin, loo, bidet, shower with shower box, washing machine.
· Master Bedroom: King size double bed, wardrobe, chest-of-drawers, bedside tables.
· Living Room: Double sofa-bed, corner sideboard with TV, views to lake side garden.
· Outside space: Dining table and seating for 6 for al fresco dining on patio. Lawn and flower beds. Sunbeds for 6. Barbecue. Gated steps down to fixed pontoon for swimming or mooring a small boat.
Bluewater is conveniently located on the lake side SP229 road on the east side of Lake Orta, between Pettenasco and Crabbia. The windows are double glazed, and the apartment is slightly below road level and faces the lake, so you don't hear the road. A car is necessary for this apartment. Convenient roadside parking bay for 1 or 2 vehicles.
There are shops, bars and a supermarket in Pettenasco (700 metres to 1km). There are four good restaurants within 400 metres walk: Osteria San Martino in Crabbia village, Pizzeria Berimbao, La Sibilla Cusiana, and the Hotel Giardinetto.
Bluewater is 4km from the beautiful car-free lake-side village of Orta San Giulio, which is the centre of the lake from a tourist perspective. There are regular boat services between Pettenasco, Orta San Giulio, Omegna and and other lake-side villages. Miami beach at the south end of the lake has sunbeds, pedalos, canoes, bar and restaurant, and is at the south end of the lake just 6km from Bluewater. Arrivals (from 1600 / 4pm) and departures (by 1000 / 10am) are on a Saturday from the beginning of May to the end of September. Outside of this period arrival days are flexible.
Costs are in pounds sterling per week for the whole apartment, fully inclusive of electricity, hot water, gas for cooker, bed linen, and standard size towels. Shorter stays are accepted for October through April (minimum 5 days for Bluewater), see short stays for pricing of stays less than a week. Winter heating costs are included.
Because of the lake-side swimming area, Bluewater is not suitable for families with small children aged less than seven years. Pets are not allowed.
